Colton was announced as the new Bachelor in August, and we have been waiting ever since then to learn more about the ladies that were going to be vying for Underwood's heart.

Winter is nearly here! HBO released the first teaser trailer for the final season of "Game of Thrones."

Though there's no new footage of the show, we see an intense war between ice and fire. It's a nice nod to the show's source material, George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series.

The teaser was first shown at a "Game of Thrones" panel at Comic Con Experience (CCXP) in Brazil.

All good? Let's point out a few things you may have noticed. 

The teaser shows a dragon and direwolf overtaken by ice on one side of a table while a lion gets consumed by fire at the opposite end. 

It's all a big tease of a brewing battle between Daenerys, the North, and the Lannisters as they fight each other and the looming threat of the White Walkers during season eight of the HBO series. 

As pointed out by our own Kim Renfro, "GoT" composer Djawadi Ramin's "Winter is Here," from the season seven finale, can be heard in the teaser.

The short teaser ends with fire and ice meeting at the table's center to forge a wall in the middle.

Renfro wonders if the two converging is representative of what happens when a wight-dragon fights a regular dragon. If the result is dragonglass, it's worth noting that's one of the few ways White Walkers can be killed.

"Game of Thrones" returns to HBO in April. The network has not released an official premiere date yet for season eight.

The Golden Globe nominations always pack a few surprises, either in what's nominated or what isn't. Of particular frustration is always a show or movie with a strong ensemble cast: How do you nominate only one actor or actress when they're all fantastic?

Here are some of the TV, limited series, and "motion picture made for television"nominations that left us with questions.

BBC drama "Bodyguard" made a big splash on Netflix, but it promotes some extremely harmful Islamophobic stereotypes.

Many felt that the portrayal of Muslim women as terrorists, victims, or both is cliched, exhausting, and maybe even dangerous in our current cultural climate. For that reason alone, "The Bodyguard" doesn't need to be celebrated.

"I am exhausted by how Muslim women are continually misrepresented like this in the media. As a victim of an Islamophobic verbal attack after the 9/11 terrorist attack, I don’t appreciate depictions that can fuel Islamophobia," Tasnim Nazeer wrote in the Guardian. "There are many communities in Britain that may not have had much interaction with Muslims, or only ever hear or see Muslims on TV. I believe the media needs to be accountable in some way for the content they produce, especially when levels of anti-Muslim hate crime are soaring. Instead, we need more powerful narratives and stories that bring about a better understanding of Muslims."

Speaking of which, if you're ever wondering if a piece of media you're watching is promoting harmful Muslim stereotypes, check it against the Riz Test, which is based on a powerful speech given by Riz Ahmed in 2017 in the UK House of Commons.

Jason Bateman in "Ozark" did a perfectly acceptable job, but it's not exactly a standout performance.

The single actor from "Ozark" who most deserved a nom and didn't get it is Julia Garner. Watching her character Ruth Langmore evolve over the course of the series has been an absolute revelation.

Part of that is down to writing, but Bateman just didn't measure up. In fact, many felt that way, as the second season was plagued with mixed reviews. 

Debra Messing got yet another nomination for the reboot of "Will and Grace," but it's just cruel to nominate the show again if they aren't going to ever win.

Both Messing and the show have now been nominated 30 separate times for Golden Globes and have yet to win a single one. Debra Messing even told the LA Times that she slept in for the nominations because she didn't expect to get nominated this year.

With the weight of all that in mind, the competition in the best actress in a musical or comedy category is fierce. Kristen Bell, Alison Brie, and Rachel Brosnahan are all considerable competition for Messing. It seems pointless to keep stringing her along unless she'll finally clinch the win. 

• There's a legal battle over part of Farrah Fawcett's estate.
• Greg Walls, her nephew, says Fawcett left her personal belongings to him. He's suing her former husband Ryan O'Neal and her estate manager for allegedly taking some valuables for themselves, according to a lawsuit obtained by The Blast.
• Some of her belongings ended up on auction sites in 2016. Around the same time, some of Fawcett's storage units were sold on A&E's "Storage Wars."
• The "Storage Wars" buyers say the unit's contents were much lower than expected, and that A&E may never air the episode.

Nine years after "Charlie's Angel" star Farrah Fawcett died, there's a legal battle over the remains of her estate.

Greg Walls, Fawcett's nephew and a board member of the Farrah Fawcett Foundation, is suing Richard B. Francis, the trustee of her estate and her former business manager, according to The Blast.

Walls says that in her will, Fawcett left all of her personal belongings to him. But he alleges that Francis — as well as Fawcett's former husband Ryan O'Neal — misrepresented the value of Fawcett's estate after she died so that they could take some of the belongings for themselves, according to a copy of the lawsuit obtained by The Blast.

According to Walls's lawsuit, David Pinsky, a friend of O'Neal's who was hired to organize Fawcett's storage units, lied about the value of the items inside. Pinsky "cherry picked" items from the units to give them to O'Neal and Francis, Walls said.

Walls noticed something was amiss when he noticed some of Fawcett's personal belongings popping up on auction sites in 2016. And on November 28, 2018, Rene and Casey Nezhoda, two regular buyers on A&E's "Storage Wars"posted a video on YouTube where they said they bought two storage lockers belonging to Fawcett on an episode of the show two years earlier.

In the video, they said the auction was filmed for "Storage Wars," but the value of the storage units content was less than they expected, and they suspected that some of the most valuable items had been ransacked. The two sold everything that remained at an auction house and netted less than $5,000.

"I bought several celebrity lockers in the past, and this is the first one we lost money on," Casey Nezhoda told The Blast.

Nezhoda also said he isn't sure if A&E will ever air the "Storage Wars" episode. After they realized all of the best stuff had been taken, he told the Blast, A&E didn't think it was appealing.

• There's often a lot of excitement about certain TV shows when they are initially announced. 
• But sometimes, the shows don't always live up to the hype or anticipation.
• Here are 15 overhyped shows from 2018, including HBO's "Camping," Paramount's "Heathers" reboot, and Amazon's "Jack Ryan" revival.

"Heathers" was almost never released.

Paramount's "Heathers" was supposed to be a progressive remake of the beloved cult classic movie from 1988, but instead it was a disaster, trying to flip social commentary on its head and failing. 

The series was originally supposed to premiere in the US in March, but after the shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School, the series was postponed until July due to its subject matter.

It was later reported in June that Paramount dropped the series completely, but after making some changes, "Heathers" went from 10 episodes down to nine and Paramount decided to release the series over a five-night event. But not even that rollout worked for the series. 

Two episodes were pulled from the TV schedule and made available only online following the synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh. The finale aired on TV. 

"Rise" was supposed to be the new, more serious "Glee."

Josh Radnor, of "How I Met Your Mother" fame, played an English teacher who wanted to transform the school's drama department and stepped over the assistant director, played by Rosie Perez, to do it. He picked the inappropriate for teens musical "Spring Awakening" for the its show and faced an intense amount of backlash from the school and the parents. But the drama couldn't save the series, and it was canceled after one season. 

"Camping" isn't a beloved comedy.

"Camping" is from the minds of creators Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner, whose "Girls" was a smash hit for HBO. The cast includes Jennifer Garner and David Tennant. But even with those talented stars, the show about friends who go on a camping trip wasn't a hit. 

Each year, there are shows that are more popular than others. 

INSIDER worked with with TV Time to come up with 20 of the most talked about shows based on user engagement on the television app from January 1 through December 6, 2018. 

It's no surprise that fan favorites including "Riverdale" and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" made the list.

Here are the most talked about shows of 2018. 

20. "This Is Us" (NBC)

The family drama follows the Pearson family through different decades of their life and has made itself quite the watercooler talk with its emotional cliffhangers. The hit series returned for its third season in 2018. 

19. "Game of Thrones" (HBO)

"Game of Thrones" hasn't been on TV since 2017, but fans have been anticipating its return for its eighth and final season. HBO finally announced in 2018 that the series would be returning in April 2019, causing a stir online. 

18. "Once Upon A Time" (ABC)

After basically rebooting the series and saying goodbye to most of its original cast, "Once Upon a Time" aired for seven seasons and had its finale in May 2018. 

• Don't go telling Seth Gilliam that Father Gabriel is to blame for Negan's jail cell escape on "The Walking Dead."
• During an appearance Saturday at New Jersey's Walker Stalker Con in Edison, NJ, Gilliam maintained Gabriel's innocence claiming a guard should have been watching over Negan.
• "Father Gabriel slammed the f---ing gate shut and it locked. And there was a f---ing guard standing by," said Gilliam during a panel INSIDER attended.

On the season nine mid-season finale of "The Walking Dead," Jesus was killed, the Whisperers were revealed, and, Negan escaped from his cell after years of being jailed. 

It seems like Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam), the last one who spoke with Negan, would be to blame, but Gilliam doesn't agree with that assessment one bit.

"I think he'd be pissed at the guard that he left on duty when he slammed the gate — shut and locked," Gilliam said at Walker Stalker New Jersey panel in Edison, NJ Saturday afternoon when asked by a fan how Gabriel will feel once he finds out Negan is free from his holding place.

INSIDER was on hand for the panel in which Gilliam took the stage with Pollyanna McIntosh, who played Anne/Jadis on the show until she flew off with Rick in a helicopter during season nine.

"There was a guard on duty when Gabriel slammed the cell door, locked, who was in charge of making sure that Negan did not get out," he reiterated.

"No, Father Gabriel did not let Negan out on purpose," he continued, fired up, but in a humerous tone. "Father Gabriel slammed the f---ing gate shut and it locked. And there was a f---ing guard standing by. Next f---ing question."

Mic drop.

Gilliam has been vocal about this on social media, too. His Twitter account is locked, but for those who are able to see his tweets, he pointed out the same exact thing after the episode aired. 

What kind of impact will Negan's escape have on Alexandria and the rest of the survivors moving forward on "The Walking Dead"? 

"When we open up in the first episode back in the new season, we will find out what it is that Negan is up to," showrunner Angela Kang told INSIDER of what Negan will be up to on the rest of the season.

"He's certainly been sick of being stuck inside that cell, both Negan and Jeffrey," Kang added. "So it was fun to kind of have him out and about and I think there's a pretty cool story to be told there that I hope that fans will enjoy who have enjoyed Negan from the start or who are kind of just enjoying seeing his evolution in the character."

A teaser, which aired on "Talking Dead," showed Negan with a shovel heading into a home in Alexandria. We'll have to wait to see what comes of that when the show returns to AMC in February 2019.

• Jesus (Tom Payne) was surprisingly killed off "The Walking Dead's" season nine mid-season finale.
• But we could see him again.
• Saturday, at Walker Stalker Con New Jersey, Payne hinted we could see him in a flashback during the AMC series' six-year time gap.

Jesus (Tom Payne) may have recently been killed off "The Walking Dead," but that doesn't mean we may never see him again on the show or in "TWD" universe.

"There's a six-year time jump, in which a lot of stuff happened and there's the mysterious marks on Michonne and Daryl. All of these things which could be explained, and Jesus may have a hand in some of that," Payne said Saturday morning at New Jersey's Walker Stalker Con in Edison, NJ during a panel with "The Walking Dead" star Ross Marquand, who plays Aaron. 

INSIDER was on hand as Payne was asked whether or not we could see Jesus resurrected or appear in some sort of flashback during the six-year time gap on the show. 

"There's a lot of time," Payne said of the jump in time on the show.

But he quickly added that fans shouldn't expect to see Jesus rise from the dead anytime soon.

"But, as far as this spot from the timeline in the show. Yeah, he dead," Payne said to laughs from the crowd.

Marquand then chimed in with his own fan-fiction interpretation of what should happen. 

"I'll tell you what's going to happen. I'll spoil this," joked Marquand. "So, there's a bunch of gravestones. They're basically going to dig a real quick hole, put some gravestones over him, and in three days, he's going to come back."

If only that's how it worked. 

When INSIDER spoke with Payne ahead of the mid-season finale he similarly hinted that we could see Jesus pop up in that six-year time gap. That's what makes the most logical sense. 

Showrunner Angela Kang has told us we should expect some flashbacks on the show. How else will we learn how Michonne and Daryl — and maybe others — received those mystery "X" marks on their backs? 

"We'll find out some more about what happened during that six-year passage of time with the mystery of the "X," [and] we may see the return of a familiar character," Kang told INSIDER. Was she speaking of Payne? Maybe. "I'm excited for all of that. And we also, I'll tease, that we do something we've never done on the show before in the back-half of the season that I think fans will be into."

• Ross Marquand's Aaron had his arm amputated on "The Walking Dead" early on season nine.
• At a panel during New Jersey's Walker Stalker Con on Saturday, Marquand said it was almost another character which received that fate back on season seven.
• He didn't name anyone, but it's likely it could have been Carl or Rick Grimes.

Aaron lost his arm early on season nine of "The Walking Dead" when his arm was crushed by a tree log. But actor Ross Marquand, who plays Aaron on the AMC zombie drama, says we could have seen a very different character meet a similar fate years ago.

"Originally, they had been proposing that for another character in season seven," said Marquand at a Walker Stalker Con panel in Edison, NJ Saturday morning. "And then it didn't come to fruition for various reasons."

He first learned Aaron would lose his arm on the show back in April and it was a detail he was surprised to find out. 

"I had a meeting with Angela, the new showrunner, and she says, 'So, we're thinking about cutting off your arm.' I was like, 'Oh, OK.' Usually, those meetings are a little vague and you get a general idea of where your character might go, nothing really that specific," said Marquand. "So when she said, 'We're thinking about cutting off your arm,' that's very specific. That's a lot of information to digest."

Marquand first noted on an episode of "Talking Dead" earlier this season that another character nearly lost their arm instead of him. The actor didn't say who the character was or why the idea from season seven was scrapped Saturday, but we have some ideas. 

What other characters could have lost an arm on "The Walking Dead"

Andrew Lincoln told press in 2017 he had asked the show for years to get rid of his arm, an iconic moment that happens early on in the comics.  

"That is the one thing that I have been campaigning for for a long time, for them to chop my arm off,"Lincoln told press at New York Comic Con in 2017. 

The main reason why it didn't happen? Lincoln said it was about money.

"All that happens is the special effects department just starts sucking their teeth [like], 'That's gonna cost a lot of money to do,'" said Lincoln of one reason we haven't seen Rick lose his hand on the show.

Clearly, the show found a way around that with Marquand. His character wears a giant sheath-like gauntlet over his arm that is made out of multiple materials in addition to the metal on the outside.

"They basically took a cast of my entire arm," said Marquand at Walker Stalker NJ. "It's like a clamshell. It unlocks on one side.. There are four different parts and it's like rubber and plastic throughout. It iitches like crazy and it's impossible to take off."

Marquand estimated wearing the glove for as many as 10 hours at a time.

While Lincoln campaigned to lose his arm on the show, it's likely Rick's son Carl could have lost his arm. As a reminder, Negan almost forced Rick to chop off his son's arm during season seven. That fits in with the timeline Marquand mentioned Saturday. 

Chandler Riggs has even said he previously thought Carl may lose his arm on the show.

"I had no idea it wasn't going to happen," Riggs said at a Walker Stalker Con in 2017. "When I was reading the script, I was like 'Are they seriously going to cut my arm off?' I was scared to death."

Marquand noted during the panel that every time he puts on his gear that he thinks of another TV show.

"Every time I put it on, I think of 'Ash Vs. Evil Dead. 'Groovy' every time I put it on," Marquand said referencing Bruce Campbell's character, who also has an arm replacement with a chainsaw.

That would be quite useful in the zombie apocalypse. Marquand says he's not promising a chainsaw addition for Aaron's arm, but he's not ruling it out.

"Season 10, it's gonna be great," he joked when asked if he would get a similar modification. 

If he doesn't get the chainsaw, the actor may be more likely to grow out a longer beard as Aaron.

When Aaron lost his arm on the show many noted that the character started to more resemble comic-book Rick Grimes because of his addition of a long beard but Marquand said the beard was his idea and something he fought for on the show.

"That's why I fought for the beard, too," Marquand said. "He loses so many people in the last few seasons, and I thought, 'Why would you be shaving?' You'd be letting it go. The beard's going to get longer, hopefully. I hope."

• Dwight (Austin Amelio) departed "The Walking Dead" on the season eight finale of the AMC zombie drama in search of his wife, Sherry.
• During a panel at New Jersey's Walker Stalker Con Sunday afternoon INSIDER attended, Amelio said there's a chance we could see Dwight again.
• "He's alive in the world somewhere," Amelio said of his character after the two time jumps that occurred on season nine.

Dwight (played by Austin Amelio) departed AMC's “The Walking Dead” on the season eight finale in search of his missing wife, Sherry (Christine Evangelista). Daryl (Norman Reedus) warned the former Savior if he ever returned he would personally kill him.

We haven’t seen Dwight since. Now that we've had two recent time jumps on "TWD" season nine, it seems like Dwight’s story may be finished for good. However, Amelio gave fans a glimmer of hope for Dwighty boy on Sunday at New Jersey’s Walker Stalker Con in Edison, New Jersey.

"He’s not dead," said Amelio of his character surviving the time jumps during a panel with fellow ex-Savior Jayson Warner Smith, who played Gavin on the AMC series. 

"That’s all I can say," Amelio added with a brief chuckle. "He’s alive. He’s alive in the world somewhere."

Amelio didn’t say whether or not his knowledge comes straight from "The Walking Dead" showrunner, Angela Kang, or if this is just his own wishful thinking.

As for what Amelio thinks Dwight has been up to? The answer should be obvious.

"Well, I think where he said he was going to go, to try and find his wife and just [be] a lonesome traveler on the road," said Amelio. 

Later during the Q&A portion of the panel, a fan asked Amelio how he would like to see himself return on the show if it was to ever happen.

“There’s so many different ways you can go with him,” said Amelio. “There’s the comic book, there’s Sherry’s story, there’s me being with the Alexandrians. I have no idea. I have full faith in the writers. They do an awesome job, so I’m sure they’d bring me back in an incredible way.”

Don't expect to see Dwight back anytime soon

If Amelio does return, we’re not expecting to see Amelio on the rest of season nine. For one thing, the show killed off nearly every tie he had to the show. Carol set fire to any problematic Saviors who appeared to be left alive after the time jump. In the comics, a huge storyline for Dwight is that he takes over the Sanctuary after Negan’s jailed. With them out of the way, Dwight would need something else to do.

INSIDER asked Amelio during the panel how Dwight would feel knowing that all of the Saviors were gone. He had a one word response.

“Relieved,” he said.

One other thing holding Amelio up from returning to the show immediately may be a lawsuit with the show. AMC was sued for the wrongful death of stuntman Jon Bernecker in January. Amelio is named as a defendant in the case. He was in a scene where Bernecker was supposed to perform a stunt off of a platform in 2017. According to the lawsuit, Amelio was the only other person in the vicinity of Bernecker when the scene was filmed.

If he were to appear again, maybe it would be on season 10. Amelio mentioned near the panel’s end that he’s filming a movie called “Holler,” starting in January.

"It’s about a 17-year-old girl who gets caught up in the illegal scrap metal trade in Southern Ohio. It’s a really interesting script," said Amelio. "I play this guy who has an illegal scrapyard."

While Dwight's future on the show is unknown, Amelio seems optimistic. At the panel’s end when the hosts thanked both Amelio and Warner for coming out to Walker Stalker New Jersey even though they're both off the show, Amelio chimed in to say that statement may not be accurate. 

"We don’t know if I’m off the show," Amelio said coyly.

The good news is that if Dwight did return, Christine Evangelista should be able to return as his wife. Her show, "The Arrangement," was canceled in May after two seasons on E!. We're ready to see Dwight back and with Sherry at his side.

• She later told INSIDER Enid holds onto the goodbye letter Carl wrote for her years ago. It shaped the person she became.
• Nacon also believes that Alden's relationship may have originally been meant for another character on the AMC show.

Enid may be with Alden (Callan McAuliffe) now on "The Walking Dead" after the show's six-year time jump, but Katelyn Nacon, who plays the character on the AMC zombie drama, says Enid's heart will always belong to Carl (Chandler Riggs).

During a rapid-fire series of questions at a New Jersey Walker Stalker Con panel with her old co-star Riggs, Nacon was asked to choose between her first love, Carl, or new flame, Alden. 

"You better answer right, Enid, or I'm walking off this stage," said Riggs.

"I don't know," said Nacon before making a decision. "No, I would say Carl."

The answer received a lot of cheers and applause from the crowd. Nacon explained her choice, and it wasn't just because Riggs was sitting right beside her.

"If Carl was still alive, she would definitely be with Carl," she added. "Nothing against Alden."

Nacon noted that Carl also helped her through a lot to cope with the death of her parents and moving on. Then there's the goodbye letter Carl wrote for Enid. Nacon hinted to the crowd in Edison, New Jersey that we may finally find out what it said.

"Well, you might just have to watch the show," Nacon said when a fan asked what Carl's letter to Enid says. Not even Chandler Riggs himself knows. He told press he didn't know what any of the letters said because he filmed with blank sheets of paper on which he jotted random notes. 

Nacon later told INSIDER Sunday at Walker Stalker Con New Jersey a little bit more about that letter, which Enid holds onto. 

"Carl's letter, I know was really important to her and I think it really affected the person that she is now, today, that we see after the time jump and everything," Nacon told INSIDER of Carl's lasting effect on Enid. "I think it shaped her to what she is. I think Glenn and Carl were two of the most influential people in her life at that time. She was going through a really rough patch, lost her parents, and didn't know how to really cope with any of that. She's 15, 16. It's a lot for a child to kind of take in and be on your own for so long."

"It took her more than six years to get over Carl," she added of finally being able to move on with someone else. 

And while she enjoys her relationship with Alden, she thought he was probably supposed to wind up with someone else originally. 

"I don't know if they were trying to do the Alden and Maggie romance and then that didn't work out," Nacon told INSIDER of Alden being a potential love interest for Lauren Cohan's character who recently departed the show, at least for now. 

In the comics, Maggie eventually starts a relationship with a man named Dante years after Glenn's death. Some fans thought Alden was a substitute for that character from the comics. Nacon said while speaking with McAuliffe that he believed Alden had some parallels to Dante. 

"I don't know what their plan was," Nacon said of the show's plan for a potential Alden/Maggie relationship. "It doesn't matter now because now he's [Alden] with me. Sorry, Maggie, and sorry, Henry."

Sunday night's season finale of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" was a big episode for the whole family. Between Kim Kardashian's meeting with the president to help free Alice Johnson, Khloe going back to work after True's birth, and Kanye West's outburst on TMZ, the season went out with a bang.

Khloe shared her anxiety about being a working mom

It was time for Khloe to go back to work since big things were happening with her fashion line, Good American, but that meant leaving True for the first time since she was born, which Khloe said made her very anxious.

But what cheered her up? Pierre, the mime who Khloe hired to surprise Kris last season, showed up at her hotel and they spent the night together out on the town, which Khloe said was "hilarious."

Viewers saw the aftermath of Kanye's TMZ appearance 

Back in May, Kanye West stirred up controversy in the TMZ newsroom when he said that slavery was a "choice," and now, "KUWTK" is giving fans a look at what was going on behind the scenes. It turns out that when Kanye was filming his TMZ Live segment, Kim was filming her talking head for KUWTK and footage showed him calling her to let her know he was going on.

Kim also asked Kris to skip her scheduled appearance at "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" because they didn't want her to talk about Kanye.

"It's really my job to be there to support Kanye and be somebody in his life that offers love and support and not criticism," Kris said.

Later, Kim said that when she saw the clip, she started crying and rushed home, but Kanye said he felt "powerful" and was totally fine.

"He loves being ramped up," she said. "He’s like, ‘I feel powerful when I’m ramped up, like, I don’t want to be, like, so suppressed. Like, yeah, I say crazy s---, but I’ve always said crazy s---. But that’s why I’m Kanye.'"

She joined him at the listening party for his new album in Wyoming, although she emphasized that Kanye "likes to speak for himself."

"I always know what Kanye's intentions are and what he's trying to say, but I also know that they're gonna write a headline and people are going to assume that that's exactly what you meant," Kim said. "That, as a wife, is just really frustrating to see, the media take everything and run with it."

But Kim said that at then end of the day, they don't always have to agree, but she'll always support him and wants to help him communicate better. 

"I obviously support him, and will always, but he likes to speak for himself and I like to speak for myself. You know, as his wife, I just have to express how I feel and have those private conversations with him and just help him better communicate what he really means to say," she said. 

Kim shared her journey to help Alice Johnson

Kim is on a mission to help Alice Marie Johnson, a woman who spent more than 20 years in prison on a life sentence on nonviolent drug charges. Unfortunately, the only person who could grant her clemency was President Donald Trump, which meant that Kim needed to ask for his help — and Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner were able to set up a meeting.

"It's just tricky because they've asked me to go and talk to Trump about why Alice should get out, and I've been so straight with Jared that I have different views," Kim told Kourtney. "I was at Hillary fundraisers. So this might not be a popular opinion but I'll talk to whoever I have to talk to to get the job done."

But then, Trump canceled the meeting on her, because the White House wanted a thousand letters in support of Alice, which was frustrating for Kim. But while she was getting ready for the Met Gala, Jared called her to set up another meeting.

During the meeting, Kim wore Jackie Kennedy's watch and Trump apparently talked about how much he loved Kanye, as well as Khloe's appearance on "Celebrity Apprentice." 

After the meeting, Kim left feeling positive, and while she was at a photo shoot, she got the good news that Alice had been granted clemency — and she held back tears on the phone with her while she delivered that news to Alice herself. A few days later, she even got to meet Alice and her family in person.

"I am so grateful that we are giving someone their life back and giving them a second chance and I'm just so happy for Alice," she said.

• Matt Lauer has given up on a "comeback,"according to People.
• Lauer was fired from NBC's "Today" show in November 2017 after alleged sexual misconduct, but was reportedly planning to return to TV after finalizing his divorce.
• He's since reportedly given up on those plans and has resigned himself to a relatively isolated life.

A year after he was fired from NBC's "Today" show, disgraced anchor Matt Lauer has given up on a "comeback" and decided to slink out of the spotlight, according to People.

Lauer was fired from NBC in November 2017 after reports of alleged sexual misconduct. Soon afterwards, his wife, Annette Roque, filed for divorce. (Lauer has denied the misconduct allegations.)

As divorce negotiations went through the summer, Lauer was reportedly "furious" that he'd have to give millions to Roque, but was eager to wrap up a settlement so he could focus on renewing is career.

"He is ready to move on with his life and truly believes that a television comeback is possible,"a source told Us Weekly in July.

Lauer settled with Roque in August, reportedly handing her up to $20 million. Later that month, he told his few remaining fans that he will "be back on TV."

But according to People, Lauer has now given up.

"He doesn’t sit around thinking about a comeback,"a source told People.

Lauer has now resigned himself to a life of being socially ostracized, spending time only with his kids and a few close friends, sources told People.

"He is not dating," a source told People. "Some former colleagues have visited him. He has some long-term friends he sees and hangs out with on a regular basis."

Several other notable media men accused of sexual misconduct have also attempted to make comebacks in recent months — with mixed results. In April, six months after Charlie Rose was accused by 17 women of sexual misconduct, it was reported that Rose was in talks to hose a #MeToo-themed talk show. The idea was quickly quashed. And in October, months after comedian Louis C.K. admitted to behaving inappropriately in front of female coworkers, he returned to New York's Comedy Cellar for a surprise set. Several audience members reportedly left.

"Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" is back with a special holiday episode centered on Christmas and the Winter Solstice. The Spellmans get some uninvited guests after a séance and Susie gets wrapped up with an evil Santa in this hour-long episode. 

"Roma"(Movie — coming Friday, December 14)

Alfonso Cuarón's film centers on a housekeeper and the middle-class family she works for in Mexico City. The emotional movie has been praised by critics and earned three Golden Globe nominations, including one for best foreign language motion picture. 

"The Innocent Man"(TV — coming Friday, December 14)

This six-part documentary series is based on John Grisham's nonfiction book released in 2006 that tells the story of two murders committed in the town of Ada, Oklahoma in the 1980s and the wrongful convictions that followed.

• Netflix released a list of its most binged originals in 2018.
• The comedy-drama "On My Block" leads the pack, which includes "Insatiable" and "Bodyguard."

Netflix shared a list of television shows that viewers binge-watched the most on its platform in 2018. The list is led by the coming-of-age comedy-drama "On My Block," and also includes the critically-panned "Insatiable" and the addictive British thriller "Bodyguard."

Netflix analyzed original shows released between January 1 and November 28, 2018 with the highest average watch time per viewing session, based on United States viewers. The results show that "Orange Is the New Black" has kept its devoted audience six seasons in, and that  shows you may have forgotten about, like "Anne with an E" still exist. 

Here are the top 10 most binge-watched shows on Netflix in 2018:

10. "Orange Is the New Black: season six"

"Orange Is the New Black" didn't get much better during its sixth season. But the prison drama that's sometimes a comedy is so popular that we're not surprised a lot of people are still watching. Thankfully, Netflix announced that season seven will be the final season. 

9. "Insatiable"

It is truly shocking that anyone watched this show. "Insatiable" intended to criticize society's standards of beauty in a satirical way but the message got lost among its sensationally offensive, fat-shaming content and characters.

8. "Anne With an E: season two"

Netflix's reimagining of the classic "Anne of Green Gables" novels started out strong when it premiered in 2017, but the second season was so poorly written that all the magic was lost. We have no idea why anyone could tolerate watching multiple episodes. 

A slew of TV shows were canceled in 2017, and the list of shows canceled in 2018 has grown rapidly since May as networks decide their schedules of new and returning shows, and figure out what they're doing in 2019.

The most recent cancelation comes from Comedy Central, which canceled "Detroiters" after two seasons. 

Despite slightly better reception for its second season that dropped in September, Netflix has canceled "Iron Fist" after two seasons, a show that wasn't a hit with critics. Days later, Netflix canceled Marvel's "Luke Cage," leaving many wondering why these seemingly successful superhero shows are getting the axe.  And they were right. In November, the streaming service canceled "Daredevil," too. 

So far in 2018, networks have canceled fan favorites like "The Last Man on Earth" and "Quantico." Fox also canceled its quirky cop comedy "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," but NBC picked it up for another season less than two days later.

ABC also canceled the previously renewed "Roseanne" revival, after Roseanne Barr posted a racist tweet about former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett. However, ABC announced a spin-off called "The Conners" without Barr that premiered in October.

In 2018, the streaming giants are canceling more shows than ever as well, with many getting cut on Amazon, Hulu, and Netflix. 

So if you're wondering why a show you love hasn't returned in 2018, it might have been canceled. (You can also use this list to see what shows are not returning in the fall or in 2019.)
